I've even tried to rebuild and create a new identity, but still is not working. I've already tried the option that are on internet to empty the outbox and re enter the password but still doesn't work. This account configuration works fine on office for windows 2010 with the same ports 110 and 25 but for some reason doesn't work on outlook for mac 2011 All the emails I tried to send got to the outbox folder and don't get sent. Hi all, I've been having some issues trying to send emails using outlook for mac 2011 from my own domain. Checking Settings in Mac Mail One possible reason for having a connection problem in Mac Mail is an improperly filled out account settings sections. If the email stays in the Outbox after doing this check, you might have a connection problem. Click on the Outbox folder and delete the email you tried to send, and other email stuck there. Drag the outbox to the Favourites line up the top of the screen. The email will be placed in the outbox AND the outbox will be visible.
